How do I clean and care for my rattan furniture and toys?
Keeping your pieces looking fresh is simple. Just use a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth to dust them regularly. For deeper cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soapy water, then let it air dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners.
Can I leave my rattan pieces outside?
Our pieces are designed primarily for indoor or undercover outdoor use. While they look beautiful on a sunny patio, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heavy rain can cause the natural fibers to fade or become brittle over time.
Are your rattan toys and furniture safe for children?
Absolutely. We use natural, non-toxic materials to bring our designs to life. Because rattan is incredibly lightweight yet sturdy, it is highly durable and perfectly safe for playrooms and nurseries.
Ordering - Retail & Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale purchasing for retail stores?
Yes, we love partnering with other businesses! We offer wholesale options for domestic and international stockists. Please reach out to us directly or visit our wholesale portal to view our catalog and minimum order quantities.
How do pre-orders work for upcoming shipments?
When we have a new container arriving, we open pre-orders so you can secure your favorite pieces before they sell out. The estimated dispatch timeframe will always be listed on the product page, and we will keep you updated via email as the shipment gets closer.
Do you offer a 50% deposit for pre-orders?
Yes, we do! Please email us at hello@beachandwood.com.au to pay a 50% deposit upfront. The remaining 50% balance will be due once the containers arrives.
Shipping & Handling
How do you ship large rattan furniture?
While our smaller items and play pieces can be sent via standard parcel couriers, larger furniture items are shipped using a private courier to ensure they arrive safely. Email us for a shipping quote for larger furniture items.
When will my pre-ordered items ship?
All items secured during our current pre-order phase will be dispatched as soon as our container arrives and clears customs. We will send you an email update with your specific freight tracking information the moment your order leaves our warehouse, so you know exactly when to expect your new pieces.
Do you ship internationally?
While we do offer international shipping for our smaller items. We are currently focused on our domestic customers for our larger items, but we are actively exploring international shipping and wholesale options for the US and Asia!
